Hévíz is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, 6 kilometers from Keszthely. By car from the direction of Budapest, the M7 motorway is a convenient and fast route, Hévíz can be reached in 2 hours from the capital.

But if you also want to look around during your trip, you can find many places of interest by turning off the highway and driving along highway 71, which runs along the northern shore of Lake Balaton.

There are direct scheduled bus services to Hévíz from most rural towns and Budapest. You can get to the Keszthely station by train, from there it’s a 15-minute bus ride to Hévíz. Since the bus station is located right next to the train station, it is convenient to transfer.

Our hotel is located at the northern shore of Lake Balaton, 6 km from Keszthely, in the heart of Hévíz, 200 meters from the thermal lake and 200 meters from the bus station. Lake Hévíz is the second largest warm-water lake in the world, with unique medically-used mud of the lake bottom: it is excellent for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatic, inflammatory and joint diseases.

Rheumatology care is available for hotel guests on request, with Consultant Rheumatologists and Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine. (GP referral to Specialist is required!) Health-check and assessment by Specialist are also available upon request.

The Lake Spa is a 3-minute walk away, and water treatments can be enjoyed at St. Andrew’s Hospital next to the Lake.
